Cosmos 7.03
Hello Everyone,
Thank you to everyone playing No Man’s Sky – Cosmos, especially those taking the time to report any issues they encounter via Zendesk or console crash reporting.
We are listening closely to your feedback, and have identified and resolved a number of issues. These fixes are included in patch 7.03, which is now live on Steam, and will be coming to other platforms as soon as possible.
Bug Fixes
- Alliances can now set additional colours on their banner.
- Improved the legibility of a number of alliance UI screens.
- Fixed a number of LODing issues with space hulks.
- Fixed a number of issues with the AI and behaviours of trader ships who are mining asteroids.
- Fixed an issue that allowed planetary scrap to slip out the back of the Colossus Flatbed.
- Fixed an issue that caused stale text on the discovery message if players discover several objects in quick succession.
- Fixed a number of small mission bugs in the refiner tutorial.
- Implemented a recovery fix for players who are unable to place exterior parts on their space stations.
- Added some additional station decoration items.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the Marine Shelter being placed on planetary bases.
- Fixed a rare issue that allowed players to shoot themselves with their mining laser.
- Fixed an issue that could cause corvette technologies to change position in the inventory if the ship they are part of was never summoned during a play session.
- Improved the display of group member icons on the star system map.
- Improved texture compression to reduce visual artifacts.
- Improved texture shader performance.
- Fixed a number of issues with DLSS FrameGen.
- Fixed a crash related to ship summoning.
- Fixed a crash related to inventory rendering.
- Fixed a crash related to enemy ships.
- Fixed a crash related to ragdolls.
- Fixed a crash related to geometry streaming.
- Fixed a crash related to memory management of physics items.
- Fixed a crash related to summoning a support frigate.
